AY Live Warri Postponed Amid Security Concerns and National Uncertainty

The organizers of AY Live Warri have announced the postponement of the highly anticipated comedy and music event that was scheduled to hold on June 12, 2026, at the Brownhill Event Centre, Warri.

The announcement was made by ace comedian and event convener AY Makun via his official social media platforms. Citing the current security challenges and uncertainties affecting many Nigerians as the primary reason behind the decision.

In a statement released to fans and supporters, AY expressed his regret over the postponement while emphasizing the importance of prioritizing public safety. Also showing solidarity with individuals and families affected by the country’s ongoing challenges.

“With a heavy heart, we have decided to postpone AY Live Warri, scheduled for 12 June 2026. At a time when many Nigerians are dealing with the painful effects of insecurity and uncertainty, we believe it is important to stand in solidarity with affected families and prioritise the safety of our audience and supporters. A new date will be announced on this page soon,” the statement read.

The event was originally set to happen alongside Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebrations and had generated significant excitement among entertainment lovers in Delta State and beyond. The postponed AY Live Warri was expected to bring together some of the biggest names in Nigerian comedy and music for a night of laughter, entertainment, and celebration.

The Lineup
