Creative Money Africa Webinar to Explore How Creatives Can Build Lasting Wealth

Creative Money Africa is set to host the Group Chief Financial Officer of Manifold Business Group, Uju Nwaobi Onyekwere FCCA, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, for a webinar on how creative entrepreneurs can build financially sustainable businesses by learning to make, keep, and grow money.

The third edition of the Creative Money Africa Webinar Series will focus on the financial systems and business decisions that determine whether creative businesses can achieve lasting success. The webinar will take place on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Hosted by Ekpedeme Ufot, Founder of Creative Money Africa, the session will feature Onyekwere, who will lead a conversation on “The Creative Business Wealth Framework: What Every Creative Business Must Do for Lasting Success.”

She will explore the financial foundations creative businesses need to grow sustainably, including pricing, cash flow, profitability, financial records, taxation, and access to funding.

Why creative talent needs financial structure

Most creative businesses start somewhere familiar: a skill, a service, or an idea that attracts clients and generates income. However, earning money does not always translate into building a financially healthy business.

Creative businesses can generate revenue while still struggling with inconsistent cash flow, unclear pricing, poor financial records, tax obligations, and limited access to capital.

These challenges can make it difficult for creative entrepreneurs to understand how much their businesses are truly earning, where money is being lost, and what they need to do to grow.

Creative Money Africa states that the webinar will address these challenges by helping creatives understand the financial systems required to turn creative income into long-term business wealth.

Making, keeping, and growing money as a creative

The session will focus on the full journey of money within a creative business. This includes understanding how to price creative services sustainably, manage cash flow, protect profit, maintain accurate financial records, meet tax obligations, and position a business to access funding when necessary.

The framework is designed for creative media, public relations, production, design, entertainment, and founder-led service businesses seeking sustainable growth.

Rather than focusing only on how creatives can earn more money, the conversation will examine what happens after the money comes in and how business owners can build systems that allow them to retain and grow their earnings.

Learn from an experienced business finance leader

Uju Nwaobi Onyekwere FCCA, the Group Chief Financial Officer at Manifold Business Group, will lead the session. As a finance executive, Onyekwere brings experience in financial management and business strategy to a conversation that is important for Africa’s growing creative economy.

Continuing conversations on creative business

The webinar builds on the previous editions of the Creative Money Africa Webinar Series.

The inaugural session featured Creative Money Africa Founder Ekpedeme Ufot, who shared 18 lessons from his 18 years in advertising on the relationship between creative talent and commercial success.

The second webinar featured intellectual property consultant Amosa Shukurat, who explored how creators can protect and monetize their intellectual property, from copyright and trademarks to patents, industrial designs, and other creative assets.

The series is part of Creative Money Africa’s mission to equip African creatives with practical business knowledge on monetization, branding, entrepreneurship, intellectual property, financial management, and sustainable career development.
