Ecobank Adire Lagos 2026 concluded on Sunday, June 14, 2026 with a fun-filled closing celebration that brought together fashion, culture, food, and live entertainment at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The four-day event, themed “Threads Across Borders,” featured Adire exhibitors and designers from various parts of Africa including Lagos, Osun, Ogun, Kwara, Ghana, and Sierra Leone, showcasing a wide range of traditional and contemporary interpretations of the iconic African textile.
Designers and exhibitors from across the region
Exhibitors at the festival presented Adire pieces spanning clothing, accessories, and textile-based fashion products. Participants included designers and artisans from multiple regions in Nigeria, including Lagos, Osun, and Ogun, alongside creatives from Sierra Leone. Visitors also moved between exhibition stands throughout the event, engaging with vendors and exploring different interpretations of Adire textiles.
Abula festival marks grand finale
The final day of the event, branded as the Abula Festival, featured live performances, DJ sets, and cultural food experiences within the venue. Food vendors served a variety of traditional dishes including amala, ewedu, gbegiri, pounded yam, and palm wine, alongside other local offerings to attendees and cultural enthusiasts who were present. The festival atmosphere remained active throughout the day, with music and performances taking place alongside ongoing exhibition activities.
Strong attendance and cultural expression
The venue recorded strong attendance on the final day, with visitors filling both the exhibition and performance areas. Many attendees, including international guests, appeared dressed in Adire outfits, contributing to a coordinated visual theme across the event space.
The combination of fashion, music, and food created a continuous flow of activity as guests moved between different sections of the venue.
Raffle draw and discount sales encourages visitor spending
The organizers also introduced a raffle draw mechanism for attendees who made purchases of ₦50,000 and above during the event. And some exhibitors drew the visiting crowd’s attention to their individual stands through atttractive 40% discount on all products on display. The initiative formed part of the on-site engagement structure designed to encourage patronage of exhibitors and vendors.
Event closes after four days of programming
Ecobank Adire Lagos 2026 ran for four days and featured exhibitions, cultural showcases, and retail activity centered on Adire textiles. The event concluded on Sunday with the Abula Festival, marking the end of this year’s exhilarating edition.
