Civic innovation hub Civichive has officially launched the application drive for the Creative Changemakers Fellowship (CCMF) 2026. Designed to empower 15 emerging Nigerian storytellers, media producers, and artists, the three-month hybrid program runs from September to November 2026, focusing on civic engagement, social accountability, and democratic participation across Nigeria.
The fellowship serves as an incubator for young voices using creative expression to tackle pressing social challenges. Combining structured online modules with immersive physical labs, participants will produce evidence-based creative content designed to drive public awareness and civic action.
The CCMF 2026 curriculum bridges theory and practical application. Selected fellows will participate in capacity-building sessions covering research methodologies, data interpretation, media ethics, and digital storytelling tools.
Through hands-on creative labs hosted across Nigeria, fellows will collaborate to produce impactful campaigns addressing social justice, governance, and community advocacy. By focusing on evidence-based content, Civichive aims to elevate the standard of public discourse driven by the next generation of African digital creators.

Eligibility Criteria and Application
The program is open to Nigerian citizens who demonstrate a track record of using art, visual media, or written narrative for community awareness and social change. Applicants must be prepared to commit approximately eight hours per week to virtual learning and attend in-person lab sessions scheduled between September and November 2026.
