Just a few moments later after C.R.E.A.M Platform confirms Sterling Bank’s role in building financial infrastructure for creatives, Slimcase gets endorsement as its first ambassador. Slimcase, one of the earliest winners on the C.R.E.A.M platform now happens to be the the first beneficiary of the decarbonisation initiative with the platform.
The Creative Reality, Entertainment, Arts & Music (C.R.E.A.M) platform which a platform focused on creators and founded by Nigerian serial hit maker, music icon and entrepreneur, Dapo “D’Banj” Oyebanjo also known as the koko master, has highlighted over ten years of impact within Africa’s creative industry, alongside financial partnership with Sterling Bank.
At a recent industry event themed “Co-Creating Financial Solutions for Nigeria’s Tourism, Arts and Creative Economy,” hosted by Sterling Bank at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, the Koko Master stated that “C.R.E.A.M platform was created by practitioners, for practitioners. One reality we have seen repeatedly is that talent is abundant, but access to structured finance remains a major gap in the creative industry,”. As a result of this, the partnership between C.R.E.A.M platform and Sterling Bank has birthed C.R.E.A.M Pay, a way of bridging creativity and finance. C.R.E.A.M Pay is a financial solution for creators to have structured access to banking and payment services. It features a wallet, which comes with debit cards that C.R.E.A.M and Sterling Bank co-brand, enabling creators to receive and manage income across multiple revenue streams.
The decarbonisation initiative will enable creatives own Electric vehicles and Solar Energy with convenient payment plans and through a valid application process to the C.R.E.A.M platform. Essentially, enabling cleaner mobility and environmentally responsible operating models for creatives. The initiative is a solid move towards reducing carbon emissions within the creative ecosystem, while demonstrating practically how sustainability integrates into creative livelihoods.
Having unveiled Slimcase as its first amabassador and presenting the keys to a Li to him, he couldn’t hold back the joy he felt as he expressed his undiluted appreciation to Sterling Bank and D’Banj for the opportunity and for turning sustainability conversations into real action. He also added that access to cleaner mobility solutions and structured finance support is essential for creatives navigating the realities of their work.
